Information on professional liability insurance:
Professional liability insurance according to the German legal requirements: pecuniary damage liability insurance of R+V Versicherung AG insurance, Raiffeisenplatz 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany. insured sum for pecuniary damages per insurance event of 250,000 Euros each, annual limit of 1,000,000 Euros in total. Valid since October 16, 2014. According to Section 6 of the insurance contract the following exemptions apply: The insurance does not cover insurance claims that are pursued in foreign courts. This also applies to domestic enforcement orders (Sec. 722 of the German Code of Civil Procedure. Zivilprozessordnung, ZPO) and claims pursuant to the violation or non-compliance of foreign law. However, these exclusions do not apply to European foreign countries, Turkey and the countries on the area of the former Sowjet Union including Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
